The Presbyterians of St. Andrews organized for worship in 1822 as a congregation of the Church of Scotland. The church building, finished in June 1824, was the gift of Capt. Christopher Scott; a patriotic native of the town of Greenock, Scotland. Finished with the finest materials, mahogany, maple (including bird's eye maple), the building is an architectural showpiece and National Historic Site. You are welcome.
